Closing the Bones Ceremony

Service Description

The ceremony helps “close” and restore the body its integrity bringing warmth and stability to the bones, especially to the hips and realigns the pelvic area and encourage correct healing. The cloths are used to massage and “close’ the body often focusing on the pelvis, abdomen and joints, that were loosened during childbirth. The ceremony is often performed two to six weeks, post-partum but can also be done after that time.
